In his two-volume world war series, ‘World War II’ along with the companion volume ‘World War I’, Maybury will give you a new perspective on wars and history, filled with facts of interest rarely mentioned elsewhere. ‘Uncle Eric’ writes succinctly and in a way to be understood.
