We used the Grade 5-6 book with one of our children for the first time this year and it has been wonderful. These books will help your child to read more carefully, interpreting text, graphs, charts, etc, identifying evidence from these multiple sources to support written answers. You can use this book as a break from your normal maths program to help cement concepts they have been learning, or introduce new concepts from a different angle, developing higher order thinking skills.
