We used this book with one of our children for the first time this year and it has been wonderful in really helping to clinch concepts. These books will help your child to read more carefully, interpreting text, graphs, charts, etc, identifying evidence from these multiple sources to support written answers. You can use this book as a break from your normal maths program to help cement concepts they have been learning, or introduce new concepts from a different angle. Forty lessons covering these topics: Numbers and Numeration; Operations; Geometry; Probability; Statistics; Pre Algebra. Our child was about a quater of the way through Saxon 76 when we did this book.  It could be used with a child at about this or Saxon 65 level, or for ages 10-12.
